At Vegan, Green, and Patriotic, this post was a surprising find with some really creative and fun ideas for frugal and green gift wrapping that include uses for your onion and potato bags! I love that she used onion bags for something so useful, and she made it look great in the process.
What’s the most creative item that you’ve ever used for gift wrapping?
Those are adorable! We use everything for giftwrap – cardboard oatmeal containers, fabric, painted/stamped brown paper sacks, we even make “ribbon” out of old film strips and photo negatives. Not all that original, but it does add interest and gives what would otherwise be trash or rag-bag stuff a second life.
