I’ve worked through Grocery University myself and I found that it really instructed me in how to better use coupons and how to take advantage of store deals and seasonal stock-ups to buy things at the lowest price.
For those of you who are really seeking to make coupons a part of your price-lowering strategy, Grocery University would be an excellent course for you. No, it doesn’t focus on organic/specialty coupons but the basic principles are all the same and it will still be very instructional. At these prices, it wouldn’t take long at all to recoup the price you spent on it through grocery savings.
For those who aren’t really using coupons in their grocery shopping strategy (if you focus more on co-ops, bulk buying, growing your own, buying direct from farmers, meal planning techniques, etc.) then you probably won’t find this course particularly helpful. The main thrust really is on effective couponing and how to take advantage of grocery store deals and promotions.
